Your role is to help keep our internal services and IT processes secure and running smoothly. This means patching servers and endpoints, tracking vulnerabilities and managing policy.
We use a variety of platforms and technologies, so this role features variety! You don’t have to know everything about a particular area, but you will be successful if you can think on your feet, adapt to new situations, and learn from the existing team.
We are a fully-remote, cross-timezone, leading technology company. You’ll mostly be working with team members in New Zealand and the US. We have a strong focus on infrastructure as code and automation to ensure team members are able to focus on interesting issues and develop new solutions.
General:
- Maintaining and patching cloud servers and end user computers
- Adhering to documented processes
- Assist with other technical support duties as required by the department and supported by relevant skills
- Respond and triage incoming alarms
Systems Maintenance:
- Setup of and maintaining automation for infrastructure and support workflows
- Implementing or integrating new solutions for the IT Operations team and Soul Machines
- Adhering to workflows for project implementation
- Device lifecycle management
- Adhering to all documented processes
- Incident Management
- The candidate would have successfully completed and graduated from a reputable training institution with a graduate diploma in Information Technology Level 7 or the equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills, and ability to multitask
- Exposure to any of the following:
- Automox
- Qualys
- Terraform
- Okta
- Linux (Ubuntu)
- Windows 11
- macOS
- Basic network troubleshooting skills.
